The members of Dance, You're On Fire have been writing and performing their take on a variety of musical stances since mid 2007. Describing themselves as something of a meeting point between rock 'n roll and indie, the band aims to deliver tracks with both a pop sensibility and an element of creativity.

Dance, You're On Fire has played extensively throughout South Africa and has enjoyed a positive reception from a number of publications and blogs including SL Magazine, Mahala, Six Love, Speakerbox and Heat while gradually building a solid fan base throughout the country.

In April 2010 the band released their first single, "Blockade", to national acclaim. Thus far the track was playlisted on 5fm, featured on MK on high rotation and charted on a number of national and campus radio stations including a number one position on TuksFM.

The band released their second single, "Little War" to national radio in late 2010 to television and radio with similar success. It too was playlisted on 5fm and featured on high rotation on a number of commercial and university based radio stations.

Dance, You're on Fire will be released their debut album "Secret Chiefs" on the 21st of February on South Africa, supported by their third and most commercially accessible song yet, "Boxes of Tigers" and a comprehensive national tour.

In addition, the band will be releasing "Secret Chiefs" in Europe in April 2011 with a view to touring the territory later in the year.
