June 6
First and foremost. I apologize to anyone who depends on this as a reliable form of news. Mostly speaking, I don't have a lot of time to update it. And not that many people read it. But I will say that I do enjoy personally updating this.
Short and sweet like last time.
Basically. I'm fucking tired and I just finished putting all of our dates up on Last.FM and I really don't want to go through another round on date putting up. So. Goto www.myspace.com/dance4destruction and just check out all of our tour dates starting July 12th in Texas and going through July 3rd. There's still a few shows to get ironed out, but for the most part, 3 weeks couldn't be more sweetly spent than with our awesome friends in Hallowed Ground. A lot of things fell apart fo us in attempts of booking 28 shows and thankfully our friends in First To Leave gave us the opportunity to play some shows with them which will thicken up our tour. I would highly suggest checking out both bands as they are awesome people, vastly different, and both have killer tunes that I'm all about.
I'd like to think that I'll have to time to book 10 days in August for a west coast tour. But I think it will end up being like 4 or 5 days up to Seattle and back, and a weekend trip down south. But assuredly I will tell you, we are coming. If you want us there sooner, shoot us a message/email/anything and help us book it. You have no idea how much that will help us if you can get the ball rolling with people you think can help us out.
Also. If you want to read in the personal experience, and find out how much of a fucking weirdo I (Jason) am. Goto www.livejournal.com/~dontendbegin and you can read my personal blog about my life (sort of) and my experiences on tour and in this band (yeah, more of that).
Thank you all for your support and love. Hopefully we will see you all soon.
D4D.

Hey everyone. I'll keep it short and sweet.
We've got some new shows listed, so if we're coming near you (or even if we aren't) come check us out. One show I would like to plug is the show we have on April 6th in Grass Valley. GV is the closest thing to a hometown that we have, and if you can, please make it out.
We have no solid plans on a release date, a label, or basically anything for our new record. What we do know is that we're writing for it and that you can expect new jams at upcoming shows.
Our tour plans are solidifying. What we can disclose honestly at this point is that tour will kickoff in early June with our friends in Hallowed Ground. If you haven't checked them out, do yourself a favor and find their Myspace ASAP. As of right now, we will not be covering the Pacific Northwest, but we will be basically doing a full US tour. Dates and cities will be released as shows are booked.
Thank you for your continued support and encouraging words. We'll see you soon.

January 26
Hey everyone.
If you looked at our website recently, or if you looked at the band member names on here, you will have already noticed that Sam has taken over drumming duties. If you haven't had a chance to see the new lineup you can rest assured he is everything that we could ask for, plus he's probably the best looking member at this point.
With this relieving news (for those of you who have been in this since the beginning, this is drummer number three) we are also excited to playing our first show at Berkeley's own 924 Gilman in March, as well as a local show with our friends The Hoods and Set It Straight on February 9th. This show will also be the Hoods video shoot in support of their upcoming release "Ghetto Blaster" which is due out in April.
Speaking of April, we are in the process of booking about two weeks of tour with labelmates Bright White Noise. This will be a California (and one Nevada date) affair so keep your eyes peeled as we trek throughout the Golden state to make our debut in Southern California as well as hitting hotspots in San Francisco and the Valley.
As always, thank you for your continued support. It was hugely encouraging seeing so many enthusiastic faces at our most recent shows and the play count steadily rising (another track is coming!). Little things were what we had to hold on throughout the recent rollercoaster of a lineup change. And for that, we are grateful.

Hey everyone.
As you may have read on our website, or heard through the grapevine, our drummer Derek will be departing Dance For Destruction as of our January 16th show. There are no hard feelings and we wish Derek the best personally and regarding any musical endeavors he may encounter in his future.
On that note, we are currently looking to replace him. We're looking for a hard hitting drummer willing to commute at least twice a week to Auburn, CA to practice. Pro gear, at least a few years experience, reliable vehicle, awesome rolls, consistency, and double kick abilities are a must. No alkies, drug users, high schoolers (18+ minimum) or assholes need apply. We're looking for an awesome person to fill this spot with talent, as well as friendship and a commitment to take the band as far as it can go. If this sounds like you, please email us at dancefordestruction@hotmail.com as soon as possible. We want to start playing shows within a few weeks of the January 16th show, and want to start practicing and working you in as soon as possible.
While Derek's departure is disheartening to say the least, his last shows with us will undoubable be some of our best. A two show stint with Global Threat, Lower Class Brats, and Monster Squad will definitely be an awesome time. Especially considering an old colleague will be filling in for Patrick while he's on vacation. And the insane lineup on the 16th with definitely be a fond farewell as well heavy hitters Blacklisted and Sinking Ships team up with local heroes Killing The Dream as well as our good friends in Sewer Rat. These three shows (and possibly others before the 16th) are not ones to miss.
We truly appreciate all of your continued support through our tough time in this drummer situation. We can't wait to see all of you at our upcoming shows. Please take care.

October 30
Hey everyone.
We've been playing as many shows as possible and on the eve of Halloween we're doing our best not to slow down. We have dates all outside of Sacramento coming up including our first trip to Reno (The biggest little city in the world you know) and an awesome show in Redding with Killing The Dream (This will be their last show of this year). So put together a car, and make it into a roadtrip.
We've also tipped the iceberg in writing our full length which we're hoping to go record in the next 6 months. So keep an ear out for new songs.
We appreciate all of the kind words, downloads, plays, emails, and support.
Take care,
D4D
