DAMIEN'S DAY OUT

Punk / Alternative / Pop Punk

Damien's Day Out, or DDO, hails from the Dover area of Delaware. Formed in 2000, they all came together to make very catchy tunes and deliver energetic live performances.

In the few years they have been together, DDO has been recognized as a strong asset to the local music scene with a very promising future. Their success includes recogniton on EPITAPH.com, the website for EPITAPH RECORDS, which is home to punk legends BAD RELIGION, PENNYWISE, and RANCID. Their single at the time, "No Place For Diamonds", topped the "Demo-lition" chart for 3 consecutive weeks, a feat that may seem small, except for the fact that most songs only stay on this chart for one week.

DDO is constantly striving to become a leading voice in the underground music world. More political and socially conscious lyrics have been energing from Sketch's voice in songs such as "Baccalaureate" and "Morals and Values". Estil's powerful craftsmanship of the breakdown is shining through in songs like "Blood on Blonde" and "Don't Let This One Go". Erik's hard-hitting drum experimentaions punch and kick the way through "Igniter" and "Marionette Heart".

DDO has sold nearly 1000 of their demo EPs since 2001, have showcased their talent at The Trocadero Theater in Philadelphia, have graced the stage of the legendary CBGB's in New York, and have become a staple of the growing East Coast music scene.

They recently finished recording their full length LP, titled "Crashing the Limelight", which was released and promoted during their nationwide tour during the Summer of 2005.

Going where no Delaware band has gone before, they packed themselves into a van and toured through Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Minnesota, Illinois, and Ohio, proving that these boys are determined and will do whatever it takes to make their dreams a reality.
