"Dai Wah @Mui" was established in 2005 spring. "UNFLAG"(2003-2005) A band of Guangzhou was the predecessor of "Dai Wah @Mui".

The naming origin of "Dai Wah @Mui" was by some personal feeling when we once borrowed the rehearsal room in The Plum Garden of a Guangzhou band named Golden Cage.The "@" sign in the name meant we deeply believed that the Internet changed our life was a reality.But we usually accord to our interest or visual to change this sign. For example: "Dai Wah x Mui", "Dai Wah .Mui" and so on.

About the music creation,some western music like Hardcore Punk,Indie Rock and some eastern music influence our inspiration deeply. About the lyrics we mainly expressed the local culture of Guangdong, we hoped that the local original music would be creating the self-cultural as an honor. About the spirit we rejected to follow blindly and to make things low quality by instinct, also we hope to expresse various aspects of our attitude,like the personal emotion, life, environment, social problems.
