In 2006 Cumbaqu released their debut O ar q movimenta no oco perfurado independently. The title means the concept of sound, in its physical explanation. Sound is generated by the movement of air, wherever there is movement, there is sound, there is music. This album brings a great sonorous diversity, passing thru rock, samba, rap, bossa nova, experimentalism and electronic music. Its lyrics go from poetic to social and political content.
