CULTIC HEADS

Punk / Rockabilly

Cultic Heads formed in 1982, in Gloucester UK. Originally a Rockabilly band but was inspired by London bands such as: The Meteors, The Ricochettes etc.and so went on to perform our own style of psychobilly music. the bands members were,
janson wong (vocals)
paul smith (lead guitar)
simon crowfoot (slap bass)
anthony byrne (drums)
colin (riggy, ha ha,)byrne(rhythm guitar)
for the short time us guys were together i,d say we had a good laugh although in the end i myself (smiffy) left the band to play a different type of music.
i hope you listeners enjoy this kind of music as much as i did back then ......... cheers!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Paul, Great to hear from you mate. Sorry that i
missed your 40th birthday party i bet it was a
blast. Gretsch White falcon indeed ! WOW i'm glad that
you decided to buy the best bird from the top of the
tree. cool axe my friend.I too ,although not a guitar
player have bought a few Gretsches in the last 3 years
whilst i was over in the States visiting a good friend
in Minneapolis. I got a 61 Tennessean (that was my best
score)a 62 Single anniversary model. and a 74 Double
anniversary model . Great looking guitars aye
paul? Well you and ange (i see that you are still with
that same lady that you were going out with when i knew
you or is it another one with the same name
coincidently?)are going to Ontario...Well done for
getting out and seeing another part of the world.Would
be great for us to visit each other in different places
wouldn't it? Just came back from Band practice,we
practice every Tuesday night.Quite a productive one
tonight actually.Probably as we didnt slug back any
Beers like we usually do.Just fine tuning the 5 or so
songs that we will record at our session on 14th June
for our album. Then do another 5 or so at a later
date. We are playing for the local Community Radio
station on Saturday as they have a Family day organised
with different musos performing,we are the only band so
we will be doing mostly Blues songs with a friend of
ours playing Harmonica on some of them. Shame Janz was
not keen to do a reunion gig with the Heads. I would
have thought that he would have been right into that
. It would have been fun. Well buddy i am gonna hit
the hay but will write again soon.Up at 5.45 am to go
to work.( as an Engineer ) not a property
developer..don't know who has been telling you lies
about that one. but i am still doing that Engineering
thang..and still kind of like it ..well sometimes
anyway..Know what i mean 'arry ? All the best to you
Ange and all the rest of the Crew. Regards Simon
Crowfoot.
