The "band" consists basically of me; one guy with Jesus, a few guitars, some songs, and the ability to record. That's about it.
I'm originally from South Carolina, though I no longer have an accent. At 18, I moved to Hawaii, travelled around the world, met a Californian, married her, and now I live in Napa, CA.
I write songs to express what I believe and feel. Some are written out of pain, some out of joy, some out of adoration for my Maker.
A few people have dubbed my music as having a new sort of genre to it. Relaxic is the term, mainly stating that it's relaxing music. Whether it's the fact that the music seems to drone on a bit, or the fact that it's just comforting, people tend to fall into a state of relaxedness when listening to me play. My wife will generally ask me to play so she can fall asleep. Others have just plain fallen asleep while listening to me play. I'm not sure what to think of that sometimes, but it's what I do, so I suppose I can't really change it...
As is the case with many singer-songwriters who don't have a professional studio in which to record, my set up is funky and the sound quality suffers because of it. If you have an open mind and can see what it's supposed to be and not what it actually is, then go ahead and take a listen...
Afterall, the worst that can happen is that you won't like it. It's not like your ears are gonna fall off your head or something.
If you like it, e-mail me. I'm always open for feedback.
Also, check out my side project. It's nothing like you've heard on here. It's a lot darker, ambient, and heavy. http://www.purevolume.com/adronus

After revamping the sound a bit, I've changed the name and most of the style of music of my little metal/drone/doom-ish side project.
If you like Sunn 0))), Nadja, P.H.O.B.O.S, or anything like it, you just might enjoy this stuff as well.

Picked up my guitar and the song 'Moving Forward, An Exquisite Journey' just kind of fell out of it. I made a jazzy/somewhat spanish drum beat, threw the guitar lick on it, and did a quick solo.
All in all I think it took me about 7 minutes to record and get posted up here. I think it's still unfinished, but this is a sample of what I think is going to be a three or four movement song. I'm thinking of doing variations of the riff, while maintaining the relatively same drum beat throughout.
It's okay at the moment, but I think it'll get better over time.

I finished what I believe to be the raw EP of my album, and because of that I decided to rearrange some of the songs so they would fit the way I want the album to run.
For the album "Leaving Myself Behind" I have added the songs 'All to You', 'The Hardest Question', 'Carpfish' with J. Villium playing the main section (which he wrote), and a re-mastered(if you want to call it that) version of 'Good'.
For the "Covers" section, I have added a newer, better version of 'Wonderwall' and have re-recorded 'Untitled', the last song on the Luti-Kriss album Throwing Myself.
For "The Old Myself" album, I have added quite a few things that most people haven't heard yet. Among these are 'Bad Words', 'Bare Boned', and 'King of Hearts'.
Lots of work has gone into music the past few days because I have a two week break until my next class starts.
Hope you enjoy!

I had originally posted the final song off of Luti-Kriss' album 'Throwing Myself' because I wanted to try something different. After some thought and a few listens, I've decided to take it down. It just wasn't the quality I wanted. My voice was off key for a good portion of the song. I'll probably be recording it again in the near future, but for now it will stay in my Garageband archive like many others that I've begun.

So much for mass amounts of recording.
While I now have the gear, resources, and necessary instruments to record, I now lack time.
With these college courses kicking my butt and family obligations I am only left with about half an hour a day in which I am allowed to be counterproductive with my time.
Haven't written anything lately. Just been picking and creating licks over jazz tracks from artists like Diana Krall, Ella Fizgerald, and other similar artists. Their voices make me dizzy.
Anywho.
Music has been and will continue to come slow for a little while.
Thinking of recording my version of 'I Don't Have Anything' from VAST and putting it up here though...
That would be interesting, and would only take about ten minutes to accomplish.
Maybe one day when no one's in the house....
