Hey there!
My name is Brin and I'm a singer/songwriter (I say this in a loose way) originally from Yorkshire. I'm currently in living in Kent whilst I'm at university, which is always pretty fun.
So, in short: I like music a lot. I always have, from what I remember. I've always been trying to write crappy little songs, whether it be back when I was 10 with various friends or now that I'm 18, doing it alone. Either way, I like the expression and creativity that songwriting allows. Unfortunately, my brain doesn't often allow the creativity to flow, hence the small amount of actual original songs on here. Covers are good too, though. I like trying to make my versions of songs slightly different. I think the best example of this would be my Mr Brightside cover (ah, shameless self promotion, you've gotta love it).
Anyway, I do what I do largely for myself although it's always nice for others to think you are semi-decent. So: you can check me out here or on youtube (.com/CrystalJet). I daresay I will accept criticism, just don't be too harsh ;) I know I'm not the best singer or guitarist, but I like what I do and (more often than not) it's good enough for me.
