BIO:
Crowd of Voices knows there are two sides to every good story. Half pop-punk, half dance. Half Michigan, half New York, they meet smack in the middle of the electronic / rock fusion that has amped the recent music scene. Crowd of Voices approaches everything with a fresh perspective, redefining the band / fan distinction by inviting their new followers (dubbed "The Crowd") to sing group vocals on their music. "This band isn't about us. It's about everyone who cares to listen and be a part of our story. It's about our friends and our adventures and the things our fans enjoy" says Michael, who does vocals / guitars / songwriting for the band. Ross is the other half of Crowd of Voices, adding production / lyrics / keys and megaphone. Their sound is both slick and edgy; their lyrics both sarcastic and sincere. This band keeps one eye on their heavier past, where you're nothing without an energetic live show, and one eye on the future, where they are helping to define a generation of talent that begins recording in a basement and has no end in sight. "As long as we have The Crowd," says Ross, "we'll keep writing them songs. COV is the only thing that helps us make sense of this crazy, crazy life. It's our escape: we want to share that and contribute some positive energy to the world through our music and our attitude."
