The seeds of Crowden were planted at the beginning of 2008 when Jonathan and Marc were searching for a drummer and a second guitarist. Shortly after, they found Alex and Dave which were already playing music and enjoying the metal scene. A two-hour band practice marked the beginning of Crowden. With a couple compositions ready, the band spreads its name in a couple cities with several gigs. The following march, Alexis Paradis completes the line-up on bass.

The Canadian hardcore five-piece Crowden have created one of the most devastating musical styles out there. The group's perfect mixture of death metal vocals along with a melodic guitar sound and high tempo drums has gained them great respect from fans. With lyrical themes ranging from struggles, mistakes and many global issues, Crowden has been able to catch the attention of fans of modern metal.

The band has surely confirmed their place in the scene and are ready to take their music to the next step; recording a Demo Disc. After the recording of their first Demo disc, in summer 2008, Crowden has decided to push their limits and change their style a bit. Alex has left the band the following August, to be replaced with Mick.
Crowden has thought of making a second Demo somewhere around Summer '09, with
potentially a new band name... and style.
