CrossTown is recording their National Debut Release for Alethea Records!

David Van Kleeck, John Perry and Bob "The Trogg" Herder, released their first CD themselves in 2003 as CrossTown Band. Containing 12 tracks, including 9 original songs and 3 Robin Trower covers, it sold out the first run in under 6 months. In that time, the band had written enough material to warrant a second album. Tentatively titled "Storm On The Horizon", there will be a Single released in advance of the CD called "The Light", currently in post-production now at Caledonia Sounds Mastering.

The CD will contain all new songs written specifically for the sophomore release, and will continue in the same genre as the first album.

Through incredible circumstances, CrossTown has been blessed in being able to call upon the World Class talents of ex-GAMMA frontman and current Robin Trower lead singer (since 1986) - Davey Pattison! Davey brings a wonderful new perspective to the sound and interpretation of CrossTown's songs. Considered one of the Top Ten Vocalists of our time, he is also an accomplished and gifted songwriter with two of his own solo Albums released independently; "MISSISSIPPI NIGHTS" and "PICTURES", both critically acclaimed and still available from his Website at; Davey Pattison Official Website

Along with the stellar vocals of Davey Pattison, a drummer of incredible talents has been called in to add new depth and power to the songs penned by David Van Kleeck! Pete Thompson has just finished a total of 2 weeks in the studio with David recording 9 tracks for the upcoming album, including the aforementioned song, "The Light". The initial Internet release of the song will have David Van Kleeck singing the vocals. Upon the completion of Davey Pattison's time in the studio with CrossTown, that will of course change and Davey will be the featured vocalist on all tracks.

As if all that weren't enough to kick off a GREAT second Album from the band, we now have Executive Producers in the mix, helping to bring the performances closer to our live shows and adding that professional touch. These gifted Pros have taken CrossTown to a higher level and achieved breathing VIBRANT LIFE and DIRECTION into the project - just listen to the new version of "POINT OF VIEW", featuring Davey Pattison, and you'll see what we mean!
