The Band was formed in 2003, when Singer Jochen Nolke and Drummer Kersten Noczinski decided to raise the Good Old Feeling of playing together... Since they already shared stages across Germany and The Netherlands back in 2001 with their former Band BROKE there was no doubt that the Vibes would be there. Kersten, now playing in a Band called CYRCUS, ganged up with their Guitarist Andy Gaube and Bassplayer Simon Köhler to complete the CRUNCHY PYRATES Lineup. No musical Stylelimitations were set. Anything goes, as long as it Rocks....!!! The Result is a emotional Mix of Hardcore, Emo and a deep breath of traditional Metal. With Riffs to Bang your Head to and Melodies that'll leave you breathless, CRUNCHY PYRATES is a Trademark for modern Metal. CRUNCHY PYRATES is sailing the seven seas of Metal to take over any Genre, that it comes across. All this is shredded into the essence of a CRUNCHY-CORE Style, blowing at ya with the steaming power of a Giantwave. After only 15 Rehearsals, they entered the SONIC-SOUND-STUDIOS, Viersen, Germany to record their 6 Track Debut "CP15". Songs like OVERDRIVE or HEAL are clearly an indication that these Guys are having fun at what they're doing. The Experince that they bring along from Shows with Bands like a.o.SUB7EVEN, KNORKATOR, HATE SQUAD, CROSSCUT, STONE THE CROW, SUPERFLY 69or LIFTID combines routine and freshness in an UP-TO-DATE- manner. ..........ENJOY!!!!!
