crashkillsfour emerge from where punk rock grew up and heavy metal got melodic. But the band’s music infuses an incredible amount of variations that somehow blossom into loud and heavy but well sewn together sounds. Don’t get me cornered with the labels here, CrashKillsFour resides far beyond genre clubs. Call them metal core/melodic metal, whatever/core - the bottom line is that the band’s music is at the forefront of their appeal-not their appearance. So, if you’re more comfortable with diluted music and contrived aggression CrashKillsFour is probably not going to be your bag. But if you yearn for a band with truant lyrics, irreverently unique music, and ambitious vision, CrashKillsFour is the band you have to hear. ~Lindsay
