cottonwood rocks the austrian stages since 2005. They began to play their music in stinky and wet cellars but time after time the shows became oftener and bigger.
At the beginning cottonwood was a group of four teenagers who were barely able to play their instruments. After two changes of the band formation, the time was ripe for the first gig. As a three-guys-combo (Andi/Drums, Martin/Guitar, Patrick/Bass) they did the first 15 shows.
Since the middle of 2007, cottonwood is on the road again as a four-headed rock-monster. Daniel joined the band with his groovy and catchy guitar playing. With him joining the band the style also changed... the initial Pop-Punkrock became an Alternative/Punk/Hardrock-mixture that makes the audience sometimes headbanging, sometimes moshing, sometimes thinking and dreaming... but always remember this:
"You can't describe cottonwood... you must feel it!"
