A one man amateur band struggling to come up with something his mother can listen to for more than 30 seconds. All canadian, currently going to school and bringing the love to southwest Virginia.
Born and raised a wee lad in the bronx of scarborough, then sheltered from the violence in his hometown of whitby. Cornelius Rupert, (or Corn Rup as his friends call him), learned his musical trade the hard way,; by sucking at it, and then plugging away for hours and hour until the suckiness began to fade. Using a strong lyrical base, Corn Rup has structured his musical creativity around poems and odes and jumbled up words. His first single, Mitch's Melody, is a tribute to comedian Mitch Hedberg, who tragically passed away on March 30th, 2005. Even if you don't like the stylings of Cornelius Rupert, give Mitch a try, we'll keep the laughter going.
