I like to have fun with music. It brings me so much joy and touches my heart in ways not many things can. I keep that in mind when I am writing songs. I don't like the idea of writing songs just to write a song if it doesn't touch my heart, or someone elses than what is the point?

I have been officially writing songs since June 2005 and I love it!! My Good friend Rachelle often plays with me and is a breath of fresh air. The name Coolfield is a mixture of last names; Bryces... COOLey and one of my friends chatFIELD. When we first started hanging out we made a joke band named Coolfield and made mix CDs with our favorite songs and such. When I started writing music it just stuck and now I like it. That is why Coolfield = Best Friends Forever.

I currently have about 28 songs written. All of these songs are dear to my heart and I look forward to writing more and more as God inspires. Our goal is to just be honest where I am at with my music. My goal is not to impress everyone with my amazing verbage or music theory, I just want to write simple expressive songs that show what is in my heart. I hope there is a place for that.
