CONTRAPTION is a one-man-army of Kneil. This digitally- based project is an ongoing experiment in fusing moods through varying styles of electronica...from electro to drum n bass...from industrial to breakbeat...always with a sleazy swagger, dirty beat and a passion for the inventive. Driven by the power of a tight, often complex, rhythm arrangement; supplemented by hookline leads, sharp-edged synths and emotive piano, these tracks lend themselves to both the dancefloor and ipod.

Contraption I"is the name of the debut album released through my own label - "ex1t music" and is available to purchase now! Alongside this is "A.M.T.Y": The "a moment to yourself" E.P. A piano-based, genre-blurring collection of emotive work.

CONTRAPTION is now taking on the live electronics circuit to bring you the best possible performance of these tracks and more...the format is still changing and probably will continue to do so.
