Well kids, this is it...for now. After being together for 5 years exactly, and after playing hundreds of shows and releasing 2 great EP's, Consoling Dara has ended our run as a band. This may come as a shock to some of you, and others may have seen it coming, but nonetheless, we thank you all for your continued support and love for these many years. We have played with some amazing bands and artists, met alot of amazing people who luterally changed our lives forever, and made a million and one memories that we'll always keep. As far as to what we will be doing now individually, Nick will be returning to school this fall to become a recording engineer. Cody has returned to his hometown to take a positon as worship leader at his church. Prouse is available to perform for bands who are in need of a bass player, and is ready for the task. And as for me, I will be pressing on full-time with the band known as The Great Transparency, as we will be playing most all of Dara's already scheduled dates, and many more down the road. For those of you who are interested, Consoling Dara will be returning for a week tour of our favorite venues in July as part of an offcial farewell celebration for our fans and friends. Be sure to keep checking our myspace for more details on that. During that time, we will be selling copies of the EP we had been working on for the past 5 months for very cheap, so you'll definatly want to be a part of those shows. So, farewell sweet world, we thank you!
