Formed in 2002, Commando has asserted itself as a solid pillar within the Quebec hardcore scene. With two demos and countless live performances, the band has left behind a trail of disorder and dismay within the French province. Commando’s blistering sound is a refreshing combination of old school hardcore and punk rock. It is while sharing the stage with bands such as Death by Stereo, Strike Anywhere, The Explosion and Cursed that the quartet recorded Talk of the Town. Recorded between November 2004 and May 2005, the album is scheduled to be released on Cyclop Media on September 6th. Commando is expected to tour Ontario, Quebec and the U.S. in the months following the release of Talk of the Town.
