Finally NEWS! tons of news!!!...

Hey everybody, Collision Of My Axioms is finally back!
Well, what a long time of no news, no updates, no web stuff, no shows...but tons of work done on our side, sure!
Nothing secretely, just the time for us to stop and think about the things done in this two years of hard working, to reflect on who we are, what we want to do, what we represent as a band, a time of conflicts and of great satisfactions, desires, a time to plan things for the future the right way, the time to grow up as a band, and most of all the time to grow as persons and definitely as band mates.
Some busy months during which we've been in studio recording new songs, started working on tons of new riffs and lyrics, featured as guests in two great albums (NOT FOUND "we're still here", BURIAL GROUND "a new era is coming"), having had airplay by local radio stations and been interviewed both on Radio (Radio Flash) and TV (RockTV) plus a bunch of videos of songs of the live set from the Sick Of It All show; we've done some photoshooting, planned and then cancelled two European tours (so bad...), been reviewed/interviewed by some 'zines (Troublezine, Punkadeka, Keep It Real...), dedicated time to our respective jobs/studies and different projects than the music-related ones, and rehearsed hard as always; made some new friends and lost some others... Not some lazy holidays you know!
So in the end the main topics of our comeback news:

NEW RECORD
Yeah, for close friends it's not such a news as many already knows we've recorded tons of new stuff, anyway this is for all the people who still didn't know it, and by the way to make things clearer one for all! Actually we have hit the studio in past October/November and worked side by side with the almighty Danny Giordana (live sound engineer of Hatebreed, Sick Of It All, Biohazard, Madball, Agnostic Front, Ignite, Suicidal Tendencies and many more...) on boards at One Voice Studio, smashing snares, breaking strings and setting throats on fire! More recently we've finished mixing and mastering the whole thing, that makes us very proud of the work done and the result reached, and even more if considered this is the very first Collision Of My Axioms' professional recording to date! Hard to describe on our own words what came out, think a mix of aggressive and hard-hitting "new era" hardcore/metal as in late Walls Of Jericho, a bit of Pantera groovy taste and inevitable NYHC classic anthems!... Well, in the end it's better for you all to listen and make an idea out of your own!
A part of the tracks will be out as the 'VERITAS' EP, which we're working on at the moment. Our main goal is to find someone (label, group of labels or so...) helping us to co-produce, print or at least distribute the CDs in their own areas. Everything's ready, so we're just collecting and sending out press-kits to tons of destinations hoping to have some good feedbacks and collaboration proposals!

NEW SHOWS
After an endless (and suffered) time far from the stage we're going to resume our live activity once again! So with a total renewed setlist, brand new backline and tons of suffocated anger we're going to be the supporter act for CATARACT and BORN FROM PAIN local shows, respectively on 11 and 22 of April! Flyers and banners will be up very soon so come to the shows and support us and the other bands by spreading the voice all around.
Anyway, while waiting for the EP to come out, we're accepting offers and searching for shows everywhere/everywhen so don't ever hesitate to contact us!

PROMOTION
Almost a month ago we've had some photo shooting with Davide DeMartis, a great friend who demostrate all of his professionality and to whom we'are very grateful for the good work done. Sometime soon we'll upload some of the new pics as long as the tons of pictures taken during the studio days, and hopefully some video report too! Besides at the moment we're working on new web stuff, like artworks and layout for myspace and the new site, banners and so on... In the end we'll propably upload some new tunes soon too, so we need all of your help supporting us by putting banners on your page, uploading songs to your players, forwarding bullettins for upcoming shows, subscribing to our profile (with the new MySpace related function) to be always up-to-date on what's going on with the Collision Of My Axioms' guys, and last but not least show us your love!

NEW MERCH
With the new EP coming out someday soon, we're concentrating on new merch artworks and items (advices are always welcome...), so stay tuned as we're going to open an on-line merch store for long distance orders, while all of our merch will still be available at our shows as always so you can come and buy it from our hands.
We apologize to all the people that sent us requests for shirts and previous CDs in the past months 'cause we were so full of urgent things to do we lost the orders somewhere and we can't remember who wrote us about that, so if you're reading and you still might be interested in it just write us again and we'll do our best to satisfy your requests as soon as possible! SORRY.


Ok, so what a ton of words!... In the end we just want to thank as always our true friends who stayed close to us and supported the band in good and bad times, and the Collision Of My Axioms' crew off course too!

Incredibile a dirsi, i Collision Of My Axioms sono finalmente tornati!
Ebbene quanto tempo passato senza alcuna novità, aggiornamento, concerto...ma di sicuro un sacco di lavoro fatto dalla nostra parte!
Nulla di top secret, nessuna cospirazione, giusto il tempo di fermarci e pensare a tutto ciò che è stato fatto in questi due anni di duro lavoro, a riflettere su chi siamo, su ciò che vogliamo ottenere, cosa rappresentiamo come gruppo, un tempo di conflitti e grosse soddisfazioni, desideri, un tempo per pianificare nel migliore dei modi le cose future, il tempo di crescere come band, e soprattutto il tempo di crescere singolarmente come persone e in modo assoluto come parte di una stessa entità.
Alcuni mesi molto indaffarati quelli appena conclusi, durante i quali siamo stati in studio a registrare nuovi e vecchi pezzi, in cui abbiamo cominciato a lavorare su una mole di nuovi riff e testi, abbiamo partecipato come ospiti in due ottimi CD appena usciti (NOT FOUND "we're still here", BURIAL GROUND "a new era is coming"), in cui abbiamo avuto diversi passaggi radiofonici in stazioni radio locali e in cui siamo stati intervistati sia in radio (Radio Flash), sia in TV (RockTV) in corrispondenza del concerto con i Sick Of It All, di cui si possono vedere alcuni nostri brani live nella trasmissione Rock Tv Night; abbiamo avuto una session fotografica, organizzato e cancellato due tour europei, siamo stati intervistati e recensiti su alcune 'zine (Troublezine, Punkadeka, Keep It Real...), abbiamo dedicato diverso tempo ai nostri rispettivi lavori/studi e ad attività personali al di fuori della musica; incontrato e conosciuto nuovi amici e persi altri per strada... Insomma, altro che vacanze!
Infine quindi i principali argomenti di questo aggiornamento:

NUOVO CD
Ebbene si, per gli amici più "intimi" non è una novità in quanto molti sanno che abbiamo registrato un bel pò di nuovo materiale, in ogni caso questo aggiornamento è per tutti coloro che non ne erano a conoscenza e soprattutto per mettere le cose in chiaro una volta per tutte, viste le numerose richieste e alcune incomprensioni varie nell'ultimo periodo!
Effettivamente a cavallo dei passati mesi di Ottobre/Novembre siamo entrati in studio e abbiamo lavorato spalla a spalla con il grande Danny Giordana (ingegnere del suono live per Hatebreed, Sick Of It All, Biohazard, Madball, Agnostic Front, Ignite, Suicidal Tendencies e molti altri...) al mixer al suo One Voice Studio, martoriando pelli di rullante, rompendo tonnellate di corde e pressoché azzerando le nostre capacità vocali a forza di urla e cori! Più recentemente abbiamo poi concluso il missaggio e il mastering rimanendo molto soddisfatti per il lavoro svolto e per il risultato ottenuto, soprattuto se considerato che questa rappresenta la prima vera registrazione professionale dei Collision Of My Axioms! Difficile in ogni caso descrivere con le nostre parole ciò che è stato prodotto, si può pensare a un mix di hardcore/metal moderno, qualcosa nello stile degli ultimi Walls Of Jericho, un tocco di metallo alla Pantera ed immancabili NYHC anthem!... Ehm, si in effetti sarebbe meglio ascoltare direttamente per farsi una propria idea personale!
Alcune delle tracce faranno parte dell'EP di prossima uscita intitolato "VERITAS", sul quale stiamo lavorando al momento. Il nostro principale obiettivo è di trovare qualcuno (etichette, o un cartello di etichette/co-produzioni/distro...) che voglia aiutarci a coprodurre, stampare o al limite distribuire il CD nella propria zona. Per il CD è tutto pronto, quindi stiamo preparando e inviando press-kit ad una valanga di indirizzi sperando di avere qualche feedback positivo e proposte di collaborazioni per poter finalmente dar luce a tutto questo nuovo materiale!!!

NUOVI CONCERTI
Dopo un infinto (e molto sofferto) lasso di tempo lontano dai palchi siamo in procinto di riprendere nuovamente l'attività live! Con una scaletta totalmente rinnovata, nuova strumentazione, e un'indicibile voglia di suonare saliremo infatti sul palco come band di supporto per i concerti torinesi di CATARACT e BORN FROM PAIN, rispettivamente l'11 e il 22 Aprile! Locandine e banner saranno uploadati a giorni quindi fatevi vedere ai concerti e supportate noi e tutti gli altri gruppi che parteciperanno ai concerti.
In ogni modo, in attesa dell'uscita del nuovo EP, accettiamo offerte e cerchiamo occasioni per suonare ovunque e in qualsiasi periodo, quindi non esitate a contattarci!

PROMOZIONE
Poco più di un mese fa abbiamo avuto una session fotografica con Davide DeMartis, un nuovo amico che ci ha dimostrato tutta la sua grande profesisonalità e a cui siamo davvero grati per l'ottimo lavoro svolto. Prima o poi caricheremo qualche nuova foto e anche alcune delle foto tra le mille scattate durante il periodo in studio di registrazione, e speriamo di poter anche uploadare qualche video-report di quei giorni! Inoltre al momento stiamo lavorando su nuovi artwork e layout per il nostro profilo MySpace e per il nuovo sito, banner vari e altre cose di questo genere... Infine caricheremo presto, probabilmente, qualche nuovo pezzo di anteprima, quindi abbiamo bisogno di tutto il vostro aiuto nel supportarci mettendo banner sulle vostre pagine, aggiungendo i pezzi nei vostri player, inoltrando bulletin per i concerti a venire e sottoscrivendovi al nostro profilo (con la vuona funzione nella home di MySpace) per essere sempre aggiornati sulle ultime novità dai Collision Of My Axioms!

NUOVO MERCHANDISE
Con il nuovo EP in uscita il prima possibile ci stiamo concentrando sull'artwork per nuovo merchandise e nuovi oggetti (i vostri suggerimenti sono sempre i benvenuti!...), quindi rimanete sintonizzati su queste pagine perché presto apriremo un nuovo on-line store per ordini sulla lunga distanza, mentre potrete sempre trovare tutto il nostro merchandise ai concerti direttamente al nostro banchetto. Ci scusiamo infine con tutte le persone che nei mesi passati ci hanno scritto chiedendo per magliette e vecchi DEMO invano dal momento che siamo tutti stati presi da impegni urgenti di ogni tipo e abbiamo finito col perdere gli ordini da qualche parte... Quindi se per caso state leggendo queste righe e siete ancora interessati a ricevere i vostri ordini scriveteci nuovamente e faremo del nostro meglio per soddisfare le vostre richieste nel minor tempo possibile! Infinite scuse.


Ok, ce l'abbiamo fatta, un fiume in piena di parole!... Come al solito vogliamo per ultimo ringraziare tutti i nostri più cari amici che ci sono stati vicini e ci hanno supportato nei momenti più felici così come in quelli più difficili, e ovviamente un grazie a tutta la Collision Of My Axioms crew!
