This is the Official Bio of Colin Munroe, as written by...ahem...Colin Munroe. Im not a writer per se...but I figured since I wrote, performed and produced all of the music on my debut album, Dont Think Less of Me, I might as well try and write my bio as well!
I've always been the Do-It-Yourself guy. Dont Think Less of Me, started out as a bunch of demos that I recorded in my attic apartment. Armed only with some basic recording equipment, I would layer drums, keys, bass, guitars and whatever percussion instruments I could find, under my original songs. Dont get me wrong - I'm not the best player, and I don't have every production trick in the book, but I have this way of putting all the pieces together that just sounds different - idiosyncratic and ambitious. It's probably simpler to say it sounds like...me....
