Colassal the new Abacus The First!
"ShockFactor" was formed on the playground of St Jo school and produced about six songs(not all recorded) when we decided to change our name to a more "original" name. That is where "Colassal" comes in. Well see where the band goes from here

Biography
The last few years Cole, Andy, and Taylor decided to get together and start a band. We figured cause we all liked the same music and all played instruments we could give it a try. We came up with the name "The Shock Factor". Of course like every band we learned the song "Smoke on the Water". Our first drummer who will remain unamed we started jamming with us about a year later. He left the band to join another band from josaphat, Right Wing Waiting. Cole, Andy and Taylor after that began writing and learning songs. Our first gig was in the basement of a church for our grad where we played a couple of original songs. Then after grade 8 we started to get serious. We decided to change our name to something more original so we changed it to Colassal. Once in high school we met up with guitar player Taylor Nepper and he decided to join the band. We began to jam together and started to learn alot of songs such as "joker and the theif" and "Are you gonna be my girl". After a while we had over 20 songs on our set list. But the problem still remained no drummer. Thats when Nepper heard about Ross Bart. We called him and set up a time to jam. The jamming went awesome and Ross decided to join. We are thinking about playing a couple local gigs soon so we'll keep you posted. Taylor Nepper has just Quit and Ian is the new drummer for the band.
