New blog! Check it.
-MAY 21ST
Hey all. We've added some more shows and many of these are firsts for us. Our show on July 5th will be our first 21+ show, which is neither a good thing nor a bad thing, just a first. This show is pretty important though because the house will only make money if we, Hungry Hipocrites, and Pete Richards draw like 100 people so we're working hard to promote the poop out of this show. Also, if you can go, that's awesome. Thanks guys, and if it's possible try to talk your friends into going as well. The more the merrier, as they say.
Also, we're playing our first show in CT (July 12th), at The Space in Hamden, CT, as well as playing our first show in Boston! On August 29th the Skybar will be having us. It would look really good for us if everybody who could go would in fact go. Maybe by then you could wear our tshirts (whoops did i say that?).
We're playing on August 25th with Mook for the second time (with the well known actor, Paul Dano, who happens to be quite the amazing musician!).
Lastly, we are playing the final show at Drifter's ever! They are closing and relocating up north in a few months due to leasing issues with the leaser. Come support Christian (the owner); he is the nicest venue owner we have ever met. The shows on the weekend of the 25th, 25th, and 27th will be a huge help towards relocating Drifter's elsewhere.
Thanks for reading!

-MAY 7TH
It's been a while since we've updated our neglected friend, purevolume. But all is well with the Cogent crew. We're all working like crazy to finish the semester at college and just plain pay our bills.
Well, we've got some pretty sweet news. We're just about ready to start designing some stickers for y'all. We've got at least one rocking design that Ted made. So those will be printed sooner rather than later and we might have some t-shirts within the next few months. Also, Matt and Dave go down this weekend to NY City to lay down some vox traxxx for our upcoming yet-to-be-named EP. Wish them good luck if you see them/talk to them this week.
On both a good notes and a sad note, we will be playing the final show at Drifter's Club in Nashua. If you know venues then you know how awesome a venue Drifter's is/was. Christian (owner/operator) is the nicest guy and he is working out details for another venue up north somewhere. But anyway the weekend of the 27th of May is the final weekend and Christian is planning to go out with a bang: he is having 45 bands in three day farewell show that weekend. We are playing somewhere between 4pm and 12am (midnight) on Sunday the 27th and we are proud to be part of this epic event in New Hampshire venue history.
Remember, leave us sweet comments (pictures too!) and we'll return the favor. We love everyone!
