Code 203 is a compilation of boys from all over the USA, each with their own style of musical influence. The lead vocalist and rhythm guitar, Walker, is mostly into punk and folk. Dan, the bassist, is a metalhead Spiderman addict. Kai and Slitzky, the guitarist and drummer respectively, are both into rock. The band has had trouble defining a direction, but that has not stopped them from writing stuff together. Musically driven by relatively simple guitar, overly done bass lines, and a heavy drum bit, Code 203 makes the listener want to jump about and act silly. Some songs are light hearted jokes, while others are combinations of teenage angst and slightly more serious issues, such as a friend's addiction to marijuana. While not awe inspiring as far as the music goes, when this group performs, the stage dynamic is very entertaining, and definitely is an experience. These kids are best friends, and they make sure everybody knows it. Though they are a work in progress, listeners can look forward to Code 203's new set of songs. Good luck guys!
