In mid-July of 2005 Barney called his guitar player friend Pp to show him some ideas about a possible new project, that would involve heavy, well worked guitars, thrilling rhythms and well-elaborated and sincere lyrics. The base idea was to play Hardcore music, but in a different way, that could allow us to express, in a more real and less artificial way, our feelings.
Thinking in the music quality and on the evolution of the project they decided new components for the project were needed. In that way occurred the admission of D-Boy, that brought with him melodic and well-worked guitars, which were born in his total influence of Californias Hardcore. Thus, the project was ended and raised as the foundations of the band.
They searched new musicians, and working together on that search they discovered Bruno, a drummer that suited the principles of the band. With an immense load of influences, coming from the good and old Punk Rock, going trough Hardcore, Rockn Roll and even Metal, he managed to fit exciting and broken rhythm at same time.
The sound was almost completed, but a piece was missing, a bass guitar player; Marreta admitted the grave tones of the music and the screams. It was short-lived, however, something more was needed. It was then decided a new musician should join the band. Pedro was chosen among many. He managed to tie the guitars to drums in a perfectly harmonic way. Today he is responsible for the lines in the Bass Guitar.
The band was now finally formed, however it needed a name, as every band got to have one. Various ideas, various names appeared, but only one could show everything the band thinks, everything it wants. That name could only be CLEMENCE!
