Members: j. Foxx, Knomad, Scotty Green
Class Project came to be when Knomad and j. Foxx met in the dorms @ the University of Arizona in mid-2002. The two began freestyling at every chance they could impressing small audiences with what was later coined their "dichotomy of sound". Foxx grew up listening to the lieks of N.W.A., Tha Dogg Pound, Rakim, and The Roots whereas Knomad was primarily influenced by underground hip-hop groups such as the Living Legends, Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, BlackStar and even classic poetry. it is this difference of influence that brings about a diversity of sound, flow, cadences and subect matters to the group. They have released two EP albums including 2005's "Rough Draft EP" and 2007's "Peer Edit EP". With genius beatsmith Scotty Green doing the majority of their production, look for these cats to do big things in the very near future.
