City of Gates is comprised of four friends united with the passion of music and faith. These common bonds merge to create the band and the sound that it brings. Expect to hear brutal yet meaningful music as hardcore is combined with melody and with the band comprising of past and present members of Leever, Show & Tell and Skyward Bound. The band, started by Nick and Andy, came together as a four piece in March 2008.

After posting a video of the song "This is Not a White Flag" (then known as Song 4) at band practice, much attention was shown towards the band, which created great anticipation and excitement for the first performance. The show unfolded better than anyone in the band hoped for or expected and since then, doors have miraculously opened for future gigs, tours, sponsorship and recordings.

Be a little patient, and you'll hear a lot more from this band, sooner than you think!
