Mozart died and Citizen Mafungo rose from the ashes. The band has been featured at such celebrity birthday bashes as Bob Barker, Ozzy Osbourne, and Michelangelo. The band recently was the winner of the 2007 WWS vs. WN Battle of the Bands. Coming up for the spring tour season, look for Citizen Mafungo at such venues as Red Rocks, The Fillmore, the Acropolis, La Spiaza, and the Fashion Show. When asked to comment, the band simply said, we love to jam.
