Chris Miller grew up in Columbiana, Alabama, and he now lives in Troy. He first knew he wanted to sing the gospel when he was in the ninth grade and enjoyed praise and worship in his church services. Chriss first songs were very worship-centered, and he later began writing lengthier ballads that reflected his lifes struggles and victories. When Chris first began writing songs, Sonic Flood had just surfaced, and praise and worship music was on everyones lips. All of the sudden, artists everywhere were coming out with a praise and worship album, and still to this day thats what everyone hears on the radio. Chris has made the statement that praise and worship has become a genre. He strives to not let worship be his style just because its hot right now, but he stresses that worship will be the foundation of his music as long as he writes.
