As 2006 blazes away, so does the path that the Christopher Jordan Band is leading worshippers down. Their uniquely unashamed approach to worship music has allowed the CJB to become one of the premier worship bands on the scene today. Their style and heart for the lost has also allowed them to play many secular venues despite the "worship band" label. With everything that was accomplished in 2005, the guys did not know what to expect this year. 2006 however is proving to be even better than last year as their schedule increases in demand and they release their sophomore album, Finding Beautiful, in May. The CJB is a band that does not disappoint whether it's live concerts, their recordings, or keeping in touch with fans. The possibilities are endless as the CJB rolls onward seeking God above anything else.

You can book the winter tour!

Hey friends,

Have you ever wanted to be a part of the music biz? Own a venue? Run a youth program? Want to see your church experience something new? Do you know someone who could answer yes to the above?

If you can answer yes to any of those (and i'm sure there are more applicable questions) then you can help book the winter tour!

The winter tour will be a "solo" tour for Christopher Jordan. There will be a great deal of new music and a desire to share information on music technology, the sermon on the mount, and serving.

Solo stuff

Hey y'all,

So here's the deal, I (Chris) am going to be doing more solo "acoustic" stuff again. This does not mean the band is done, not by any means, it just means I'm widening what I do musically. I've been getting a lot more into producing and recording and have been working on tons of new material in the process. Some of which still remains the style of worship that has been carved out of my heart. Still other new songs are more along the lines of Shaun Groves or Derik Webb as I respond honestly to life, the Church, experiences, and our shortcomings.

At this point, I have no idea what is to come of it but i do know that this winter I'll be embarking on a solo tour and shooting for 10-15 shows. If you or anyone you know would like to book one of these events please contact me at Praiseworship247@aol.com. The tour will be called the "All for Love" tour and will include a wide range of covers, old songs, and the new material. I will also be using midi loops and samples which will often make things sound much bigger than a one man show -- Which works out, 'cause the Man the show is for is pretty huge. God bless!

btw -- The myspace blogs have pretty much come to a standstill, but I'm wanting to start it again only this time being more intentional. The thoughts i've had so far are doing some sort of devotionals, a Bible study-esque thing, or doing a weekly "message" but keeping it topic based for several weeks. Let me know what you'd like to see. The biggest thing I want to do with it is create interaction and response amongst those chasing after Jesus and hopefully invite a few people to come "running" with us.

Release Date

Hey friends,

Many of you have been asking for new music for a long time. So we bring to you: Finding Beautiful. This will be a our 2nd album together and is slated to be released May 30th 2006. The CD release shows will be the 26, 27, and 28. More information for those events is on our myspace @ www.myspace.com/christopherjordanband.

BTW, we'll be releasing one song from the album every week up until its release starting right.....now!
