CHEW TOY is not just a band that plays music, but rather a collective organization of friends that involve themselves in a type of autocatalytic musical process. Instead of describing Chew Toy's music in terms of "sounds like", or "influenced by", we lilke to think of this musical process as one that gains strength and momentum as time goes on. We are not concerned with what is considered to be "hip" or "the next big thing"; however our main goal is to have as much fun creating music in which WE enjoy. We want to share our musical experiences and goals with whomever is willing to take on these same ideogies concerning muscial endeavors. For example, we encourage the usage of normal household items to engage in the exploration of thier musical capacities.

Lastly we beleive that anything in which you enjoy doing, should not be taken so seriously. We are serious about the process of making music, but whatever the outcome of the process, we take it as it is.
We don't take ourselves seriously, maybe thats why we have so much fun. We do however agree that for any band to be successful they need to PUSH THE FUCKIN SINGLE DUDE, GET IT OUT THERE, SHIT, WE AINT EVEN GOT NO FUCKIN MICROPHONE, WE AINT EVEN GOT NO SONGS NEITHER....WHO'S IN CHARGE OF MERCH DUDE...
