Celeste is a singer-songwriter with an ever-evolving sound. Her influences include but are not limited to artists John Mayer, Carole King, James Taylor, Ben Folds, and Norah Jones. She draws inspiration from everything from AIM conversations to true love.
Currently a student at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Celeste totes her enormous keyboard back and forth from home to school so that she is always ready to write a new song when inspiration strikes. She sings in an all-female a cappella group called Hoos in Treble while at school, and has arranged several songs sung by the group.
After the release of her first CD, The Face of Reality, in 2006, Celeste has continued to write and record and she hopes to get in the studio this summer to record a new album. She is looking forward to working with other musicians and adding new depth to her songs.
