Cause of Effect is a hard-rock band out of Corydon, Iowa that is ready to explode onto the local music scene with a hard-hitting groove along the lines of Staind and Breaking Benjamin while mixing Heavy Metal, Blues, and old-school hard rock into one unique and driving new sound. Members Nick Stanley (lead vocals, rthym guitar), Chadd Eagle (lead guitar, vocals), Jason Bennett (bass), and former Salvaged drummer Bill Shoemate (drums, percussion, vocals) have also come together to form their own recording facility "Red Hat Recordings" in which they rehearse and record their demos and eventually their upcoming self-titled album "Cause of Effect." The band derives its sound from having a die-hard appreciation for music and long-lasting brotherhood, not to mention an insane drive to be an agressive force in the local music circut. It's not only the vision of Cause of Effect, it's how they live their lives, a no-holds-barred pursuit of their goals; there's no better way to live life as far as they are concerned. Greetings and salutations, friends from the world of Cause of Effect. I would tell ya the shows that we have coming up but I can't for two reasons: I don't remember them offhand and you gotta go to myspace.com/causeofeffect or do a music search on Cause of Effect to check out she shows we have coming up! They're adding up quick and things are looking good. COE and the guys are currently working on the "Cause of Effect: Leading the Blind unplugged" set for the near furute and so far the songs are sounding great. A few songs sound like "ehhh, what song are THEY playing?" but when the song clicks it's awesome.

We also go back into the studio April 1st to start on the lead guitar tracks and hopefully some vocals. I have recently aquired yet again another rough copy from takes off the floor, this time with a little bit of EQ and man this album is going to rule. The Seymour show at the Wall Street Steakhouse went over better than expected...the crowd was insane and gave us a really high energy level that made us play harder than we have at any show so far. I truly think that was the best we ever played as COE by far. I'd like to give a shout out to our manager Donnie and our friends in Salvaged for being so supportive to us and our music. Sometimes I know that at least I get consumed with alot of grief in wishing our good friend Joe was still here with us, having fun with that big smile he used to have on his face, you help me move on but not forget and that is important, dear friends.
