Cast In Shadows creates a powerful sonic landscape - a place where diverse influences blend into a singular musical result. Driving and aggressive yet soaring in melody, a bright light exposes a deeper message of hope and the importance of truth for Cast In Shadows. Drawing on influences from Sevendust and Tool to Incubus and Pearl Jam, Cast In Shadows weave a collection of beautifully crafted songs that are the hallmark of this newly formed, yet long tempered, band.

The band quickly garnered a reputation for its live shows and turned there energy in the studio to translate that emotion into what would become a powerful, cohesive first album.

The bands debut effort, an LP entitled In Your Eyes, by veteran producer Chris Pati (Columbia Records - Rhett Forrester, 4-Star Kerrang! and Massacre Records - Psychosis), is a standout representation of the bands undeniable intensity. In a remarkably short time, Cast In Shadows has become a must-see live band in the New York area as they prepare to tour nationally to support their debut.

Quasi-compulsive in nature, their prolific songwriting and work-ethic has seen them evolve in a very short time to a maturity level unique to a group of their chronological age. At the end of their time in the studio recording In Your Eyes, they possessed enough of a song surplus to record an additional two albums. This single-minded focus to the evolution of the band and the music will surely yield fans wherever their travels lead them.

Its a supremely personal album with the goal of communicating the efficacy of self-empowerment to our audience, says frontman Vinny Verzino. Ultimately, we hope that the passion that we feel for our music and lyrics translates to those that choose to listen.
