We have some music up! It's from a not so hot performance at the Curtain Club from almost midnight on Jan 4, but at least it will give you a hint of our sound. Thank you so much to the sound dude for hooking us up and giving this to us for free. These recordings are bassless, very live, and very raw, but give'em a spin, learn the words, and come sing along with us next time.

We are still currently looking for a bass player! For the time being we practice every Monday and Thursday around 6:30 and have a pretty busy January coming up. Looking for anyone into rock and roll and harder music who owns their own equipment and is dedicated to music. We gig often and look forward to being able to hit the road sometime soon. Carry the Rest is the musical creation of four guys trying to write music that is passionate, smart, and yet as aggressive as their influences in older Texas metal and hardcore would lead them. Having shared the stage with such bands as The Showdown, Maylene and The Sons of Disaster, Bats and Knives, In the Arms of War, and Twelve Gauge Valentine, Carry the Rest approaches every show and song as a new way to entertain and experience, but still give every one who listens a song to hum as they go through their day.
