Carousels and Midsummer Massacres are self described as Progressive Hardcore Rock, but the actual fuel behind the whole band has roots in all different area's of music. From early rock bands such as Iron Maiden, progressive metal and rock bands such as Dream Theater and Pink Floyd, electronica hardcore bands such as Enter Shikari and the local Dividing The Line, and even drawing influence from the dance world of music, using Leftfield and Moby style synths.
The band all hail from the Worcestershire area, from throughout the small hill town of Malvern (Y'know, water 'n' hills 'n' shit), and into Worcester city itself.

Practically drowning in natural and cultural features it is clear that to a certain extent these elements drive their song writing to different levels. Another critical feature of their music is the use of harmonic chords, catchy melodies, and driving riffs, all combining to provide a truly original listening experience.

One tune now up guys and girls!
Intro track to the "Thin Line Between Sanity And Fate" EP.
The track is called "Moth's To A Flame".

THIS IS A REDUCED QUALITY TRACK.

This isn't the final version.
The vocal track in this version is quieter than the one that will be on the EP, however, please keep listening! For all of you that support us,

THANKYOU! xx
