Coming from the same town as August Burns Red, members of the band have been raised in the capital city of breakdowns, but never really forgot the anthems they sung in their young teenage years by bands like New Found Glory and Set Your Goals. Combining the pop punk tunes that they grew up on mixed with their hardcore roots, CK brings on an unimaginably diverse sound and audience. In their six months of being a band, this teenage five-some have been able to share the stage with bands like Sky Eats Airplane, Fireworks, and We Are the Union, and were easily able to surpass the 200,000 play mark on myspace. Some members still having over a year left in high school, expect to see much more from Carousel Kings as they self book their own two week tour this summer and prepare to record their debut album next winter.
