Biography

We are not Chinese and 80's movies deceived us. In the midst of growing up with 8-bit video games and John Hughes movies, we were relegated to believing our high school experiences would encompass choreographed school dances and popularity. This was never the case. In response, we incorporate the choppy pace and sounds of video games and an unpopular adolescence into our songs so they wistfully gallivant hand-in-hand with our haunting sci-fi infatuation.

Our music suffers from an identity crisis. It saunters happy through the car speakers while harping on the uncomfortable anxieties of denial and mental obscurity. The purpose is to dance away any confusion of the imagination and singing all while realizing that being awkward is better than deceitfully claiming love solves all of the world's problems
