Can't Face The Falling, from Providence, RI, is slightly different from the other bands in RI. Reason being: four girls, one amazing band. CFTF initially formed in 2001 as a keyboard driven five piece, but in the summer of 2005 decided to reform. This indie rock band consists of four original members: Rachel, Kayleigh, Lauren, and Sarah. They have shared the stage with numerous reputable band names, such as Minus the Bear, Denali, Ambulance LTD, The Receiving End of Sirens and most recently their cd release with Head Automatica. Commonly seen in the spotlight at Providence's the Living Room and the Middle East in Boston, these girls never cease in finding ways to make music interesting and are able to lure fans in with their undoubtedly classy appearance. They are very much influenced by other indie bands, such as Cursive and Death Cab for Cutie. Being an exclusively girl band cannot be all that easy though. They have had to overcome the stereotypes and odds that all girl bands face. However, they have not let any preconceived notions stop them. Considering themselves just a group of four amazing friends who love playing music together, CFTF continues to grow as a band and progresses through and through. CFTF plays many out of state shows, so be sure to check out a band that will not let you down at a venue near you.
