Cancer from Candy is formed by 5 guys with nothing to do who are obssesed with making noise. Jerome, and Justin, had recently left the local emo band As the City Sleeps a.k.a. Blind as Youth. While Jamie and Mike weren't doing too good in thier metal/emo band, From Beneathe the Ashes. When the four got together for an experimental jam session. Cancer from Candy was born.

The first show was in five days. It was at the River's Edge Caffe in St. Albans, WV. The lineup included bands, Shindig and Leah Stargazing (two amaizing bands). The band was never intended to be taken seriously, afterall Justin was supposed to move to La Port, Indiana while Mike was going into the Marines the next day, But after the amaizing crowd responce, everyone got serious. Mike and Justin decided to stick around.

We knew we wanted to go big, so we made a checklist, 1.lead guitarist 2.recorded material 3.material and 4. a myspace. Thats when we stumbled upon Travis, who had been looking to join a band. He practiced and played a show with CFC and it was now offical, Cancer from Candy was going to make it. We got some recordings at a local recording studio and got some pretty good stuff done, we plan to re-record everything soon so keep checking back for more stuff. We play shows as much as we can, we are all very dedicated and would love to play every night.
