We know our songs are rough but we're definitely workin on gettin them cleaner and better and we're also gonna rerecord them in a real studio using real studio mics and the instruments will all be rerecorded and remastered and they'll be all on time and clean and all that. So just go easy on the critizism cuz we're currently working on getting everything redone and cleaned up.

We're recording new songs for our new CD that will be a long gradual process, so just listen to what we've been up to on this page and on our myspace! On this profile page thing we put up our music and demos that we have so far even though some of them aren't even finished. This way you'll will be able to see our progress and keep up with us. Hey this is Daves and Ben we're some kids who love music and Jesus. We are 14 (daves) and 15 (ben) and we just started this band on July 9th, 2007, so go easy on the criticism because we are still looking for new band members and such. We currently need a bass player and rhythm guitar player cuz we can't seem to find someone who will practice hard and be committed to the band, so contact us if you wanna join.

Somethings about us: we are Christians, we like to shred, rock, mosh, and eat. We all skate. We believe that our musical talent is a gift from God.

Ben's favorite bands are As I Lay Dying, chiodos, emery, old haste the day, the devil wears prada, protest the hero, showbread, the sound of animals fighting, old underOATH, and he is legend

David's favorite bands are Chiodos, Blessthefall, The Devil Wears Prada, A Day To Remember, A Skylit Drive, "Old" Haste The Day, Akissforjersey, Norma Jean, Horse the Band, and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster.

We never take anything seriously (but our music, our relationships, and our faith). There is a lot more to us than this and hopefully we can share that with you through our site and music. This is just to give you an idea about what we are like.

ONCE UPON A TIME, THERE WERE SOME TEENAGERS WHO WERE GIVEN THE GIFTS OF MUSICAL ABILITY. THEY DECIDE TO CREATE A BAND THAT THEY NAMED CALL ME SIR. BUT THERE WAS THIS BIG PURPLE DRAGON NAMED POSERIUS WHO ONLY LIKED HIP-HOP AND COUNTRY MUSIC. CALL ME SIR HAD TO LIBERATE THE WORLD FROM THIS AWFUL BEAST AND THE ONLY WAY TO SLAY THIS WRETCHED CREATURE WAS FOR CALL ME SIR TO PLAY HARDCORE MUSIC RICH IN BREAKDOWNS AND SHREDDING GUITAR ALONG WITH BLASTING DRUMS AND DOUBLE-BASS. JOIN CALL ME SIR IN THEIR QUEST TO SAVE THE WORLD AND KILL THE DRAGON BY LISTENING TO THEIR MUSIC AND SUPPORTING THEM.

Happy 4th of July everyone!! We love you all so much for hangin with us this whole time and supporting us. We love our fans more than you may know. AN IMPORTANT BLOG CONCERNING COMMENTS

Hey everybody this is Daves the lead guitarist and singer of Call Me Sir. I noticed we've been gettin some comments about my vocals being rough and i'm not gonna lie they are pretty rough, but let me give a few analogies and explanations that ya'll should know. First off, critizism is like medicine: it's good to help a band grow but if you give too much of it the band will overdose and eventually think they should just give up. Which is bad. So some critizism that is legit and honest while still polite is very good for a band to improve but you shouldn't go overboard. Encouragement is like food: it helps a band keep going and it inspires them and makes them feel good but if you give too much, the band will get fat and think they don't need to try as hard anymore and they won't really know how the music actually is if everything said is "you're amazing!" or "you're so cute!!!!!". Haha we love those comments so keep posting them but, once again, don't go overboard with it. And lastly we're gonna make everything cleaner, brighter, more professional, and all-together amazinger as we are gonna be re-recording all our songs with my good friend and professional producer David Spencer who is currently giving me vocal lessons so I can get better and more professional. So we are gonna be going to his and his friends's studio to record which will take some time but we'll get it done eventually. And also the microphone i'm currently using for recording my vocals is not for studio vocal recording so the sound quality isn't as good as it can be and it alters the way it sounds a little bit. So yeah! Thanks for reading this!! I still love you even if you bash me and my band, Daves Anderson

concerning vocals

i know my vocals are rough in the demos we have up on our page but that's because i did them a while back when i was less experienced and trained, so eventually we're gonna re-do vocals and stuff and plus im gettin better gradually thru practice and training type stuff. But we're hoping to go to a real studio this summer and record everything right that means everything will hopefully be in key, on time, in tempo, all the notes right, better and cleaner vocals, and bass. so please pray for us that we can accomplish this task of recording a full length CD at least by the end of the year. Its gonna be really expensive so please support us. we're also prolly gonna release an EP on itunes to raise a few bucks for the full length album we wanna complete. So this will all be gradual and will prolly take a while so hang in there with us and please pray for us. Thank you all so much for being amazing, Daves Anderson P.S. I wont be gettin on my personal purevolume profile thing anymore because i'm too busy and it sorta complicates my life more than it already is. So i'm sorry to all those people who think i'm ignoring them, i'm really not, i would like to talk to you but i can't. sorry

Heyy. So you guys are obviously talented. Instruments
sound pretty good. The vocals just aren't quite sitting
right with me.. The screaming just sounds like it is
lacking the volume.. you know what I mean? Like there
needs to be something more behind it, it's not loud
enough. And I liked it when you actually sang so I'd
say maybe try to sing more often instead of screaming
all the time. But overall I enjoyed it. It's obvious
that you work really hard and to have this much talent
at your age is amazing. I wish you all the best and

I'd definitely just keep practicing because other than
the vocals, nothing seemed really bad. The vocals do
need some serious work though, everything else just
needs "tightening". Don't stop making music. It's
obvious that God's graced you guys with talents and I'm
glad that you're using them. Just make sure you make
the most of them. :)
