Call Me Anadarko was started by brother and sister Adam and Erica Nelson in 2008 as a fun chance to pair their musical talents together for the first time. Erica had been writing music for a while and Adam joined in. In the few years since they've been playing in coffeehouses and different venues in Chicago, Wisconsin, and Michigan and really striving to bring genuine, truth-seeking music with them wherever they go. In the past few months they've managed to grab a hold of several of their friends who've jumped on board and added depth to the music. Drummer/Percussionist Scott Covelli has been listening to CMA from the beginning and is really excited to join up with Adam again after their last band fell through. Brother and sister Nathan and Maggie Hubbard are long-time friends of Erica and Adam and have added their talents at guitar, percussion, piano, synth, accordion, and oboe. When they can play Jessalyn Bolkema adds a wonderful cello to the mix and Zach Pedigo shows the world his amazing bass skills. Together, the group sounds like a blend of The Swell Season, The Decemberists, and the Hush Sound and really just love being able to jam and play together.peace and love, CMA
