BIOGRAPHY
As long as he can remember David Callahan Robert has always had a passion for music. As a child he used to sing along Elvis Presley's songs. He first learned to play the saxophone at the age of 8 and then the drums when he was 13 and played in several Hardcore and Post-Harcore bands the following 8 years. Now that experience helps him to structure his songs.
During these years he borrowed his brother's guitar and learned to play the songs of Alice In Chains' Jar Of Flies album.
However he really started writing songs when he was 19 years old. Years after years, haunted by the ghosts of Nick Drake, Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt, Elliott Smith and the living legend Neil Young, he improved his writing to create now intimate songs with picturesque words.
Callahan opened in particular for Christian Kjellvander (SWE), Ane Brun (NOR), Wendy McNeil (CAN), Kera (CH) & The Devastations (AUS)
