R.I.P By The Throat 2005-2008
By The Throat was formed in early 2005 by members Tosis Maguill and Schylar FYL. Coming into the picture soon after were Korey Wilkinson, Ely Pierce, and Tom Evans. By The Throat started playing small shows at houses and venues around town and also recorded a quick demo called "Until You're Breathless". Later on, Tom Evans left the band and guitarist Zach Farrell jumped in. The band then wrote a lot of music and played quite a few more shows and eventually recorded "Cast Aside the Amber of This Moment" in the Summer of 2007.
After being around Colorado Springs for three long years as a band, By The Throat is deciding to come to an end. The members will continue on to form a new band that will be more appealing to more people and themselves as well.
