The band themselves call their sound "progressive speed metal fusion". The "progressive speed metal" aspect is clear to those who listen to the mp3s. The "fusion" aspect is not as easily defined, unless you hear the rest of the album. There are elements of hardcore, punk, jazz, and ambient electro, that can also be noted as vital influences to Byproduct's sound.
