Burn The Ballroom wants to change your world. How is that for a lofty goal?

Alan Gant and Tom Callahan need only one idea to motivate them: Write songs that inspire. Gaining life changing influences from bands like Queen and The Foo Fighters, Alan and Tom took this philosophy to heart when writing their first two albums, entitled The Black and The Blue EPs. Their music is meant to entice the listener with strong hooks, thoughtful lyrics, and a raw edge that showcase the passion which the songs are meant to invoke. Alan's vocals soar above the tapestry of the music on which Tom puts his unique twist, to give the band a sound that is equal parts exciting and classic. This team writes the kind of songs that inspire them and hope that in turn, they inspire others. The world needs more good music!

After months living with this musical beast that was taking over their lives, Alan and Tom spent one night thinking of what the band's sound meant to them. Going for a dark twist on a beautiful image, Alan came up with the name Burn The Ballroom. Representing their love for timeless classics, melodies, and incendiary passion in music, Burn The Ballroom symbolizes a desire to reunite music and meaning.

Burn The Ballroom is now in its strongest form. With the recent addition of drummer Bentley Cobb Jr., the lineup is tighter and more in sync than ever. Bentley comes from a background of playing drums for everything, be it musical theater, a fill-in jazz gig, or local bands in his home town of Richmond. This constant performing has given Bentley a strong edge in the precision playing and stage presence departments. The band now has the pieces in place to finally achieve their goals. The band is writing its strongest material to date with no end in sight. Burn The Ballroom is here to stay.
