The band officially started regular rehersals in January of 2006, although Taavi (Guitar) & Martin L (Guitar) had been playing together for quite some time before. Martin M (Bass) permanently joined the line up in the summer of 2005 with Sulev (Drums) & Olev (Vocals) completing the band in January 2006.
Drawing influences from different Death Metal, Hardcore and Metalcore bands we like. Burn Still strive to make brutal and heavy music, but also integrating some melodic elements into our songs. Focusing on raw in your face vocals, aggressive drumming, and fast guitar riffs along with a heavy dose of breakdowns - Burn Still is a promising new act destined to create havoc with every performance.
Our debut EP entitled "Let The Skies Turn Black" was recorded by Grozmot @ Zorg Sound Laboratory and is currently available for purchase only by emailing us at burnstill@gmail.com.

* Won Green Christmas "Young Star" Competition
* Playing at Green Christmas Festival with Raunchy (Den), Callenish Circle (Ned) and many others
* Finished second at Rock Cafe "Bandstarter" Competition among 43 bands.
From 2007:
* Won "Hard Rock Club" Competition - "Best Young Band"
* Playing at Hard Rock Laager with Soilwork (Swe), Vader (Pol) and many others
* Playing at the biggest hardcore festival in Scandinavia - "Deadfest" in Sweden with War From A Harlots Mouth (Ger), Six Ft Ditch (Uk), Bane (Us) Have Heart (Us), In Blood We Trust (Ger) and many others.
