In the year 2007, Burn My Eyes formed itself from the ashes of Permanent Midknight, Meth Sessions, NVAIN, and Trust Kill Pride. Combining over a decade of experience and sharing the stage with bands like Testament, Body Count, Otep, and Still Remains, BME is set out to revitalize an oversaturated North Carolina metal scene. Burn My Eyes has steadily gained a loyal fan-base in the metal community throughout the South East US.
After a short time together, Burn My Eyes released their first recording in November 2007 on Zen Wang Bingo Records with producer Mike G. The Self Titled 5 song EP gained the band a tremendous spike in popularity right out the gate with tracks like "Scars" and "Personality Overload". Burn My Eyes is also in regular rotation on the popular radio show “90 Minutes†on Charlotte’s 106.5WEND.
