The current line up of the Burning Virgins have been together since 2004, and, in that time, have developed their own unique blend of rock, blues and funk, alongside a thrilling and energetic live show. Their first self-produced album (Proud to be Loud 2004) was recorded only a week after the band formed, but despite this has been a big success, winning them many loyal fans and slots on BBC southern Counties Radio, Delta radio and several student radio stations (including the almighty Old Boozerooney show on SURGE). The follow-up album is oh-so-nearly ready to be revealed to the world, and looks set to cause the same (if not more) wave of "virginmania" as Proud to be Loud did when it is finally unleashed on the general public. However, it has often been commented that, in order to truely appreciate how hard these guys rock, you simply HAVE to see them live.
