'Burning Below Zero' is the experimental 'synth-metal' solo project of former bassist of 'Burn The World', Andrew Simmons.

I figured I had bigger aspirations than being just a bassist for a nowhere band, so I grabbed a mic, a music generating program, and started a revolution..

Burning Below Zero all started really a few years back, around 2004, when I first began studying music theory and composition. I decided I liked metal the most, and I started writing riffs, beats, lyrics, and all that great stuff out for about 100 or more songs, so here I am composing it...and I'm still just getting started down the road.

I'd like to be in a band some day, but for now, this is my project, my baby..I'll need it later on to reflect on what I've learned by myself, and somethin' about that is- you can't teach someone how to develop their own style..it just sorta happens with experience..

Listen to my stuff, enjoy it, headbang, mosh, do whatever you want to it, I don't care. I just make it. It's there for you to enjoy.
